Cero's Candies...Celebrating 120 Years!
In January, 2000, The Mental Health Association, with a grant from The Forrest C. Lattner Foundation, purchased Cero's Candies, a historic candy store and manufacturing business in Wichita, Kansas, renowned for its premium handmade chocolates.
In addition to carrying on Cero's tradition of gourmet chocolates, The Mental Health Association has added a new dimension to the business, and offers job training and employment opportunities to persons with a mental illness as they rebuild their lives and work in the community. Partial funding of the employment program is made possible by a grant from COMCARE.
