We exist to empower and assist youth, families and adults in South Central Kansas to achieve optimal mental health and wellness through education, advocacy, and service. With your help, we can make a difference. MHA seeks to intervene, treat, and educate those throughout south central Kansas in the many forms that mental illness takes among our families and friends, while doing all that we can to remove the sigma too often associated with mental health.

Employee Spotlight- Whitney Clouse

In July 2014 Whitney Clouse, Billing Supervisor, reached 15 years of employment at MHA. Whitney first came to MHA the summer before her senior year as a billing clerk. Then returned to MHA after graduating high school. During her years at MHA, Whitney has been a billing clerk, case records specialist, Executive Administrative Assistant and was currently promoted to the position of Billing Supervisor.
What do you like most about your career?
So far, working for Carol and learning about the entire agency and new initiatives. This knowledge has given me numerous strengths.
What advice do you have for others pursuing a career?
Take the time to learn as much as you can.
What’s something most people don’t know about you? That I started at MHA full-time at the age of 18 and started in the billing department.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my daughters and husband.
