Each September, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) sponsors national Recovery Month to increase awareness of behavioral health conditions. This year, the theme for Recovery Month is "Join the Voices for Recovery: Visible, Vocal and Valuable!" This theme highlights the value of peer support by education, mentoring and helping others. Join us in educating the public in the importance of good mental health, that prevention and treatment work and that recovery is possible.
