Empowering Engagement: Effective Strategies for Working with the African American Community

Join us either in person or virtually for this exciting presentation to gain new skills in addressing racial inequality and bias when working with the African American community in Wichita. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Our presenter will be, Samuel Thompson. Samuel is from the northeast side of Wichita Kansas. He is a Hip-Hop artist, podcast host(Thinking Out Loud W/ Samuel David), and music producer. Samuel has been at Cox Communications for 5 years. His previous work experience includes Diversity & Inclusion Manager at T-Mobile, as well as Case Manager at the Mental Health Association. Samuel has a passion for people. He is a maximizer of strengths, motivational leader, and inspirational leader. Samuel also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health America of South Central Kansas and R.O.S E.
